About Animals at Home (Meon) Ltd.
I'm looking forward to caring for your pets throughout the towns and rural villages of Central Hampshire, along the Meon Valley, covering the post codes of SO20 – SO24, SO30, SO50, SO52 and SO53.
Fortunately, I was brought up in rural Cheshire and owned all sorts of animals from goldfish and rabbits to dogs and horses. My love for the expensive sport of Eventing developed from a young age so I knew I had to find a good profession in order to chase my dream. My initial career took me along the Accountancy path before moving into Marketing. Having worked in Marketing Management for some 10 years I was unfortunately made redundant early in 2010. This has allowed me to now follow a different career path with Animals at Home.
I have successfully Evented nationally and am now looking forwards to pursuing my obsession for animals whilst working with them. You can’t beat mixing work with something you have a passion for.
Living with my partner, Jeremy and our 4 year old Giant Schnauzer, Fritz has fuelled my passion for this career change. We also have our own stable yard where my 2 Event Horses live. Speedy is a young Warmblood cross and Kreis is an ex-racehorse that I have owned for 21 years. The horses get on very well with Fritz – so much so that we will often see Fritz and Kreis sharing the same feed bowl.
I have completed a Veterinary Nurse education and am trained in many aspects of pet care, animal handling and basic first aid. I am also Police Checked, fully insured and my ambulance is fully equipped for all eventualities.
I am available anytime so if you have any questions at all, please call or e-mail me. I look forward to meeting you and your pets very soon.
